Applicable public events may also appear on DeathDoula.org, making them easier for people, families, communities, and organizations to discover. Features will be introduced in phases as they are developed, tested, and ready for use.

People and organizations choose whom they contact. Each doula independently decides whether to respond, consult, collaborate, or enter into a service agreement.
Appropriate communication across care and community settings
Some doulas support people who are also connected to hospices, healthcare providers, caregiver organizations, faith communities, funeral professionals, and other community partners. DeathDoula.app is being explored as a way for doulas to prepare and share appropriate, client-authorized information with a clearly identified contact when coordination is helpful.
The intended model does not place doulas inside an organization’s health record. A doula may prepare an appropriate nonclinical note or update, confirm the required authorization, and share it through an authorized method with the selected contact. The receiving organization determines whether and how it is handled within its own systems and policies.

Blueprint Vision Ventures, Inc. develops and operates the platform. It is not a doula’s employer, agency, healthcare provider, clinical supervisor, or a party to any doula-client agreement.
